1.

  2. I’ll be playing guitar with my good friend Phil Glauberzon’s new project PSYCHIC LINES this Thursday night at Googie’s Lounge in NYC. Phil is an expert piano player, songwriter, and producer. We met at a gig at The Delancey I was playing in the Spring of ‘05 (he was the sound man). We’ve been friends ever since. He’s the one that plays the sick slide guitar on “Gone Girl” from my album WALKING PAPERS. He was a member of the band ILLUMINATIONS with me, co-writing the song “We All Say Goodnight”, and played piano and organ all over my album NOISE OF WELCOME (That’s him playing the toy piano on the record cover).

This show marks the record release for his album EVERYTHING KEEPS GETTING BRIGHTER. Alfra Martini will be contributing vocal harmonies, and I’ll be contributing some electric noir flourishes on my Fender Esquire. The show is free to attend. Also on deck is the avant vaudeville group GEORGE SAND, the debut performance of EX EXTRACT, and the sci fi parlor tunes of BABY COPPERHEAD. Should be a night to remember.
